1. Methadone significantly minimizes and even possibly eliminates withdrawal symptoms associated with heroin and/or opiate dependence, use and abuse.
2. MMT reduces/curbs cravings and urges to use heroin and/or opiates
3. Methadone blocks the effects of heroin and/or opiates making it extremely difficult to experience that feeling of euphoria/elation or getting “high” associated with them
