Addiction is the number 1 health concern in America and a major problem throughout the world affecting millions of people. Despite the fact that addiction was declared a disease but the American Medical Association (AMA), the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) and other well respected medical communities and organizations, many groups and individuals still think “drug addicts are just weak-willed babies”. This article is meant to debunk the myths and help people understand addiction once and for all.
