Northeast Addictions Treatment Center is an evidenced based treatment facility and offers exceptional, affordable addiction treatment and recovery to men and women who want to get their lives back on track. Individuals affected by addiction attend not only to get clean and sober, but to change their lives through recovery. Promoting a drug free live is only a part of what the center does. Northeast Addictions Treatment CenterThe Northeast Addictions Treatment Center is the product of several friends who grew up in the greater Boston community. As they witnessed a major drug epidemic slowly creep into their hometowns, they realized their communities were changing for the worst. Soon, men and women from all socioeconomic backgrounds were forced to look ahead as their loved ones suffered from the affects of addiction. Children and parents, alike, were being lost to heroin and drug overdoses at an increasingly alarming rate. Having had enough, that same group of friends decided to take action and, as a result, the vision for the Northeast Addictions Treatment Center was born. After months of hard work and countless nights without sleep, Northeast Addictions Treatment Center was born and open to begin saving lives.

The founding members and treatment staff came up with and share one common goal: to create the best clinical, practical program to help individuals recover from drug addiction and become successful members of society. In order to accomplish this, only top notch highly credentialed therapist, doctors and psychologists were prescreened and hired. At Northeast Addictions Treatment Center there is a design for living that really works.

For this reason, we believe that addressing all three components of the disease of addiction is the only way for patients to successfully recover.

Northeast Addiction Treatment Center possess a strong team that will aid in their recovery and rehabilitation. The professionals at the center understand that an addict is making one of the most important commitments of their life by entering into their treatment facility. Thus, staff supports and partners with each individual addict and walks the path together toward long term, lasting recovery.

Saving Lives with NARCAN (Naloxone)

As a result of the increased rate of opiate overdoses per year, more and more people are carrying Narcan. Narcan, which is also known as Naloxone, is a medication used to “reverse the effects of an overdose of heroin or some types of painkillers.” In addition to heroin, Narcan blocks the effects of morphine, oxycodone, methadone, fentanyl, hydrocodone, codeine, hydromorphone, and buprenorphine. When administered early enough, Narcan can “counteract life-threatening depression of the central nervous system and respiratory system” within minutes. However, it is important to note that Narcan only works temporarily and wears off within 20 minutes to an hour and a half.
